Ashley Fotheringham

I am a 3rd year fine art student at Moray School of Art in Moray. My practice is heavily influenced by my maternal role and physical body. Through art making I can erase my subjective experiences to new objective outcomes. By exploration of domesticity; documentation and materiality, the work allows me to recognise the fulfillment my body endures within the mondaine routines of motherhood and to judge it's appearance with more compassion and gratitude.
