Charlene Scott
Charlene Scott is an artist based in East Lothian, Scotland, who is currently in her final year of study at Edinburgh College of Art. With a growing awareness of climate crisis and an increasingly uncertain world, Charlene’s most recent work comes from a desire to develop a practice that encourages a meaningful and caring relationship with natural materials and seasonal cycles. Through slow accumulation of experiential knowledge, Charlene aims to build a balance between a process-led and research-based practice. Her work to date encompasses artists’ books, object making, painting and textiles, the intention being to celebrate and carry an essence of our entanglement with the natural world in an undramatic fashion.
