Chloe Le Tissier

Chloe Le Tissier studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and the Royal Drawing School. She is currently participating in the Turps Banana Offsite Programme in London. Chloe's work is painterly, figurative and varies in scale. She works from observational drawing as well as imagination, memory and photography. Predominantly working in oil and acrylic, Chloe is interested in capturing a moment and a feeling in her paintings; observing how beauty is found in the everyday, and the mundane can become magical. From moments of heart-warming contentedness and joy, to those of deep frustration, guilt and sadness, Chloe explores the paradoxes of motherhood. A prize-winner in the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition and the Columbia Threadneedle Prize, Chloe was selected to take part in the Crisis Commission in 2014 and is a shortlisted artist in the Sequested Art Prize 2021.
