Christina Rose Brown

Christina Rose Brown is an artist living and working in London. She graduated with an MA in Art and Design in Education from UCL (2016), and a BA in Fine Art from Kingston University (2009). Christina predominantly works with textiles, using hand embroidery as a method of drawing. Her work deals with themes of identity, motherhood and the personal/universal lived experience. Her use of hand embroidery evokes feelings of a mediative, thoughtful process and the investigation of the tactile quality and materiality of fabric. Her use of line, and abstracted forms have a dream-like quality that links to memory. She is also a qualified art teacher and experienced worship facilitator.
