My practice has changed in recent years. I used to make a lot of sculpture, though due to size and time constraints the work has moved to being predominantly drawing and collage based. The work has always been about human behaviour and interaction, through strong narrative and imagery. Since having my daughter, I have been really interested in the recurring imagery in tales and mythological stories and have been creating my own bestiary of fantastical creatures. I am also very passionate about the female condition in various societies and I’m currently making a small illustrative book about witches and how women were, and still are, persecuted throughout time.
