“I’ve always loved telling a story through painting and drawing the viewer in. With a background of Life painting, working mainly in oils, my main focus has always been the human form. Painting has always been cathartic for me during difficult times in my life and my recent work, particularly ‘Labour of Love’ will be my most personal to date. I am now lucky to be a mother to 2 year old twin boys, after years of fertility struggles which influenced my Art. LABOUR OF LOVE tells my story and includes work which I plan to exhibit in the future. Just as my journey to Motherhood has influenced my Art, I know that Motherhood itself will impact my future work.”
