Wren Velvie
As a multi-medium artist, I explore and integrate a range of mediums, including sound, film, poetry, illustration, photography and written and spoken word into my work. My creative focus is grounded in the intention of healing and building community. Influenced by ancestral knowledge, customs, and storytelling, as well as our interconnection with the universe and alternative societal narratives. I approach my work as a holistic practitioner, weaving together my own experiences and perceptions of motherhood, nature, separation and integration within the systems of the world. Through both my artistic and natural healing practices I aim to create works that evoke a sense of interconnectedness, encourage reflection, and inspire a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the world. By exploring the intersections of different mediums and themes, I hope to engage those who recieve what I am doing in a transformative and healing experience that connects us to life with deeper purpose, understanding and service.
