Caragh O’Donnell Delaney
Caragh O’Donnell Delaney is from and lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Her practice incorporates painting, 2D and 3D drawing, installation and mixed media, along with collaborative working and strands of research.
Her approach to making work is highly experimental and playful and drawing, in the broadest sense, is central to this process as source material, developmental tool and media for finished work.
She has been returning to practice after becoming a parent to three children, before which she worked in the arts and as a freelance artist for arts festivals and organisations
Her practice explores ideas of memory, loss and re-memberence of family/home/place - with visual themes of mark-making and finding the surreal in mundanity
