MAKING MOTHERHOODS VISIBLE •
Spilt Milk is a social enterprise whose mission is to promote the work of artists who identify as mothers, and to empower mothers in the community through artist-led activities .
Exhibitions
Bringing together the diverse voices of the Spilt Milk artist community, our latest online exhibition delves into themes of home, care, labour, and family, and how these intertwine with a sense of self as artist, as (m)other.
Formula for Care? An exhibition in collaboration with Tonic Arts and NHS Lothian Charity, is currently on display at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh.
Launching on World Collage Day 2023, we are excited to present Cut, Torn & Mended; an online exhibition and printed zine bringing together collages from thirty Spilt Milk members from different parts of the world.
